The Lake Linden Housing Commission manages the day-to-day operations of two Senior/Disabled buildings, Maple Lane and Rustic Meadows as well as 16 family homes located throughout the Village of Lake Linden. Our apartments and 16 family homes are safe, clean and the rent is affordable.

We are located within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment, churches, hair salons, and the Lake Linden Park.

Our caring staff supports a warm and friendly environment where residents can relax and enjoy numerous on-site amenities. Common areas include a Community Room as well as a park like setting.

All apartments at Maple Lane and Rustic Meadows are safe, well maintained and comfortable. Each apartment includes a kitchen, living room, bedroom, full bathroom, and beautiful views. All utilities, (gas heat, electric and water) are included in the rent except at Rustic Meadows where the tenant pays for their own electricity. Cable is available at a discounted rate through Charter/Spectrum.

Rent Calculations

The rent is different for every resident. Each resident can choose either to pay a flat rental amount established for the individual bedroom size of the apartment, or 30% of their “Adjusted” income.

“Adjusted” income is the amount of annual income an individual has after deducting $400 for each individual over the age of 62, and medical/disabled expenses for qualified individuals.
